Cason Batters Minnesota Big Time Thursday, August 25th , 2039 The Yankees downed the Twins 14-7 today at Target Field as Jimmy Cason exploded for 5 hits. "A couple times, I got a pretty good pitch to hit," the New York shortstop told reporters in the postgame interview. "A couple times, I had to work for it. But I think they underestimated my abilities." Jimmy Cason singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
