CF Wuest Re-Signs with Houston

A contract extension between Gabe Wuest and Houston was reached earlier today.
Wuest will continue to play for the Astros and will pocket $84,200,000 over the next 7 years. The Astros said the extension "shows our level of confidence in him and in the type of player and person he is."
A look at his current stats shows Wuest with a .220 average, 15 home runs, 44 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has played in 91 games.
