Huntington Beach HS Moves on to Semifinals Tuesday, April 23rd , 2058 The Huntington Beach HS Oilers have swept the Mater Dei HS Monarch Lions and are on to the Semifinals. Huntington Beach HS won 10-7 today at The Zoo to clinch the Quarterfinals. "We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Huntington Beach HS first baseman Micah Lumsden, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning." Lumsden won the award with a .500 batting average and a .545 on-base percentage.
