HS Announces Best Player Award

At the age of 14, Frank Barnett of the Poly Prep Country Day School Blue Devils could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2065 was good enough to win the shortstop the High School Outstanding Hitter Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .393 batting average this year, as well as a .455 on-base percentage. He played 40 games and racked up 70 hits, 15 doubles, 2 triples, 19 home runs, 44 RBIs and 37 runs scored.
He received 21 first place votes out of a possible 32. Al South of the Sulphur HS Golden Tornados finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Barrett Eben of the Cretin-Derham Hall HS Raiders finished third with 4 first place votes.
