Gallagher on a Tear, Hits for Cycle Thursday, June 2nd, 2044 Jesse Gallagher saw a spectacular performance go to waste in his club's 7-5 loss to the Baltimore Bulldogs at Phillips Field today. The Denver Bulls right fielder had 3 runs batted in and went 4-for-5, including hitting for the cycle, but his club went down to defeat anyway. "Everything they threw him, he was swatting around the field," said the Denver skipper Jamie Benge. "It really was a special performance for Jesse. It's a shame we couldn't win the game, too." Jesse Gallagher singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Kennedy Hashim in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
