Roadrunners Rally Late to Clip Philadelphia
Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Phoenix Roadrunners and Philadelphia Freedom.

The Phoenix Roadrunners defeated the Philadelphia Freedom, 6-5. Right Fielder Grady Faulkner deserved a large share of the credit. Faulkner was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Roadrunners. Phoenix, with the win, sits at 24-48.

Mitchell Shook was the walk-off hero for Phoenix. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Roadrunners shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Faulkner told reporters after the game.
