Puente Slams 5 Hits for Anchorage Saturday, July 21st , 2040 5 times is the charm -- at least for Rico Puente. The Anchorage Anchor Draggers left fielder tore up the Petersburg Big Rigs to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Enforcers Park. The offensive onslaught from Puente powered the 16-13 Anchor Draggers win. "Puente was a tough out," Petersburg manager Nick LaTourette said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Rico Puente singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Gabe Ring in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and struck out in the 8th.
