The Crescent City Kodiaks captured an easy win, 13-3, over the Gillette Bison at Bison Stadium. Michael Ohnemus led the offensive barrage, going 2-for-4 for Crescent City. The winning pitcher was Mark Vela. His record now stands at 8-5. The right-hander went 6.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 9 hits for the Kodiaks. Crescent City is now 37-41.

Helping the Crescent City cause was Brian Milici. In the top of the fourth, the two-time All-Star had a run-scoring walk to make the score 6-3, Kodiaks.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Ryan Hollister said.
