Black Eagles Drop Old Timers, 7-4
|
The rain did not keep Great Falls and Pocatello from finishing their game.
Good production from designated hitter Jayden Anderson helped the Great Falls Black Eagles topple the Pocatello Old Timers, 7-4. Anderson went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Black Eagles. Jamie Kilian recorded the save, his 15th.
Brett Flop-Hopkins had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the seventh for Great Falls. With the bases loaded and the Black Eagles leading 2-1, he hit a sacrifice fly.
"It was a solid team effort," said Anderson after the game.
The Black Eagles, at 28-34, sit in last place in the Pioneers Conference Plains Division.
