Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Money Friday, August 19th , 2039 The New York Boulders stopped the Lincoln Argonauts today 8-7 and Alan Money collected a base hit yet again. The New York first baseman finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Money told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Alan Money grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Money currently has a .323 batting average with 123 hits, 11 homers, 54 RBIs, 63 runs scored and a .370 OBP. |
