Norwich Sea Unicorns second baseman Chris Malkin went ballistic with the bat. He hammered the Detroit Stars for 5 hits to help Norwich win, 15-4, over Detroit at Detroit Grounds.

Barry Doran, who earned MVP honors, took full advantage of his opportunity. "I always give it my best," he said, "whether I'm playing in the sandlot or on a big league diamond."
