Fremont Advances to Next Level A Cup Thursday, September 10th , 2093 The Fremont Sea Dogs out-dueled and outgunned the Sheldon Ricochets in the Next Level A Playoff and are on to the next round. Fremont won the final game 7-5 at Ricochets Stadium and the series 4-2. David Detty was named series MVP for a strong offensive performance during the Next Level A Playoff. He had a .385 average with a .407 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 6 runs. "I was seeing the ball well and glad to help my team out and get us to the Next Level A Cup," he said. The Fremont Sea Dogs don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Pico Rivera Honey Bugs - Belmont Black Aces series. Pico Rivera leads the series 3 games to 2. The Next Level A Cup schedule will be announced after the Next Level A Playoff finishes. |
