NXT Headline News: The Offseason Begins

The playoffs are over and another season is in the books in Next Level A. Today starts the offseason. Players go on vacation, but general managers gear up for an exciting period of roster moves! The offseason is just about the busiest time for a GM. He must assess his players, coaches and manager to determine the areas of need and ways to improve his club in the coming season. The right moves now will pay off in future dividends.

Next Level A Cup to Silversides

The Greensboro Silversides pulled out all the stops tonight, winning the Next Level A Cup in a hard-fought series with the Sheldon Ricochets.
It was a seesaw affair, but with a 1-0 victory at Greensboro Grounds, Greensboro lay claim to the franchise's 12th championship.
"There's no denying we faced a tough opponent," said Orlando Sanchez. "But as the old saying goes, 'when the going gets tough, the tough get going,' and that's what we did today."
The champs finished the regular season 104-36 and claimed first place in the Next Level A League Barrera Division.
A victory parade is set to be scheduled in Greensboro in the days to come.
