Cocanougher Shackles Minneapolis Saturday, August 31st , 2086 St. Louis Sidekicks pitcher Bob Cocanougher blanked the Minneapolis Searchers 2-0 at Ballpark of St. Louis today, tossing a 1-hitter while issuing 2 walks and collecting 7 strikeouts. After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club. "I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Cocanougher said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today." In 29 starts this year Cocanougher has crafted a 10-7 record and a 3.13 ERA. |
