Season Ends for Curt Lewis of Bryan Friday, September 28th , 2085 The season is apparently over for Curt Lewis. The Bryan Bombers medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 11 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Lewis was hurt in the game against Portland while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. So far this season, Lewis has logged a 7-11 record with a 3.99 ERA. He has started 30 games, hurled 149 innings and registered 88 strikeouts and 37 walks. |
