Almost There: Boston On Cusp of DS Triumph After 7-5 Win
Riding the 4-hit performance of designated hitter Freddie Jackson, the Boston Ninja Black Sox got a road win against the Schenectady Blue Jays, 7-5, in Game 4 of the Division Series. Jackson hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Ninja Black Sox, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.

Nick Noel came through with a big-time hit for Boston. The center fielder smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I like our mindset right now," said Boston manager Larry Link.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at McNearney Stadium in Schenectady.
