Phoenix Sends Mexican Hat Packing with 4-3 Loss
|
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Phoenix Unforgiven and Mexican Hat Wild Burros came back from a rain delay to finish their game.
Jose Garcia, who is tied for 10th in the WL with a 3.45 ERA, was locked in. The right-hander led the Phoenix Unforgiven to a 4-3 win against the Mexican Hat Wild Burros at The Graveyard. Ryan Morgan, credited with the save, is now 30 for 32 in save opportunities.
Phoenix right fielder David Radebaugh helped the Unforgiven go up, 3-1, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Radebaugh hit a 2-run single off Mexican Hat pitcher D.J. Hernandez.
"Nice win for us," said Radebaugh. "Now we'll go after the next one."
The Western League Battisti Division-leading Unforgiven have a record of 90-70.
