The Winnipeg Goldeyes and Boston Ninja Black Sox completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The Boston Ninja Black Sox got a superb performance from pitcher David Ramírez, but the Winnipeg Goldeyes still won the game, 6-4. Ramírez threw 6.0 innings allowing 3 runs. Marlon Koonts, now 2-1, was credited with the win in 2.1 innings of relief. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. Don Morgan sewed up the save, his 29th.

Winnipeg used the timely hitting of John Rowe to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Goldeyes on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Rowe.

The third-place Goldeyes hiked their record to 68-84.
