Providence 4-1 Losers to Blue Jays
Schenectady used a superb performance from starting pitcher Brody Noon to down the Providence Reds, 4-1. Noon picked up the win for Schenectady, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 13-5. Providence has now lost 4 consecutive games.

Justin Carney had a big run-scoring triple for the Blue Jays in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Schenectady leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Sam Teague and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blue Jays ahead, 2-0.

"Brody pitched his heart out," said Schenectady manager Gerhard Trippel.
