The Tri-City left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Angel Laguna got the save, his 4th in 5 chances. With the win, Tri-City pushed its record to 75-71.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Daniel Jiménez didn't flinch. With a runner on 1st and Boston trailing 2-1, Jiménez retired Rick O'Neil to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Jiménez, with a wink.
