Jon Griswold put on a hitting clinic as the Guelph Royals dumped the Winnipeg Goldeyes, 15-7, at Shaw Park.

The Guelph shortstop made Winnipeg defenders earn their pay, lashing Winnipeg pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Griswold said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Jon Griswold hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
