The Detroit Diesel walked off with a big win.

The Detroit Diesel did just enough to secure a victory over the New York Gothams, 4-3, in 10 innings at Donald Perrault Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Ismael García. The win elevated the Diesel to 64-48.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Detroit. That's when Juan Gonzalez hit a run-scoring double off 26-year old left-handed pitcher Ryan Stodola to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Detroit field general Tyler Brigham.
