FRL's Premier Player for 2073 Named

Cole Thomas took Frontier League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 24.
For his spectacular campaign, the Mahoning Valley Scrappers star has been named the 2073 Frontier League Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the first baseman.
On the season he compiled a .360 batting average to go with a .420 on-base percentage. The native of Newark, New Jersey also added 19 doubles, 2 triples, 19 home runs, 76 RBIs and 45 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 14. Tulio Cruz of the Schaumburg Boomers finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Phillip Perrer of the West Michigan Whitecaps finished third.
