No pitcher in the International League threw better in July, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today. In 9 starts Van Buren compiled a 2.59 ERA, putting up a 6-2 record, striking out 70 and tossing 83.1 innings. This season Van Buren has compiled a 17-10 mark, 3.15 ERA and made 28 starts. |
