Grasshoppers Advance to Round 3 Thursday, September 21st , 2023 The Greensboro Grasshoppers are one step closer to the Round 4. The club prevailed 4-3 at Dunkin' Donuts Park tonight to eliminate the Hartford Yard Goats and advance to the Round 3. The Grasshoppers won the series by a 4-2 margin, with right fielder and series MVP Seuly Matias leading the way. "I'm proud of all the guys," Matias said. "This was a team effort, not just me." The Round 3 matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
