RubberDucks Win Round 1 Monday, September 11th , 2023 The Akron RubberDucks are on to the Round 2, having knocked out the Peoria Chiefs 4-2. The final blow came tonight at Canal Park, where Akron sealed the Round 1 with a 10-3 triumph. Luis Durango was instrumental in the series win and was given MVP honors. Durango hit .640 with a .690 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 10 runs. The Round 2 matchups and schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
