That's exactly what Junior Tilien did today at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 12-6. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Tilien said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Brooklyn Cyclones third baseman blistered the Aberdeen Ironbirds for 3 hits, batted in 4 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," Aberdeen manager Roberto Mercado said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Junior Tilien grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Maikol Hernandez in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Maikol Hernandez in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Leandro Arias in the 9th. In his season totals Tilien has 28 home runs and a .331 batting average. |
