5-Hit Barrage by Sanchez Tuesday, June 20th , 2023 Rome defeated Wilmington today at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium. The star of the game for the Braves was third baseman Luis Sanchez. His hitting heroics included a 5-for-6 day, paving the way for Rome's 14-4 triumph over the Blue Rocks. Luis Sanchez hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. For the season Sanchez is batting .213 with 33 hits and 3 home runs. He has scored 12 times and batted in 24. |
