Rosado Rips Münster for 5 Hits Friday, July 21st , 2023 It was a sensational day at the plate for Jorge Rosado as he led the charge to a 10-3 win over the Sun Cats. The Vigo shortstop was pure misery for the Münster pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Rosado put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Derek Botelho, manager for the Sun Cats, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Jorge Rosado hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Ellerd de Regt in the 9th. Thus far in 2023 Rosado is hitting .251 with 6 home runs, 46 RBIs, 36 runs scored and has compiled a .314 OBP. |
