Banda 5-for-6 Against Volts Monday, May 22nd , 2023 David Banda really sizzled at the plate in today's 11-0 win over Volts. The Vienna first baseman blistered Dublin for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Banda was too tough to get out today," the Volts skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." David Banda singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Gerben ter Maat in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. So far this year Banda is batting .257 with 5 home runs, 24 RBIs and 27 runs scored. |
