Not only has Trent Wonnocott been named winner of the 2023 World Baseball Championship U16 Most Valuable Player Award, he's done it at an age when many of his peers are still trying to establish themselves in World Baseball Championship U16.
"I feel fortunate to win this award at age 15," he said. "I feel like I still have my best years ahead of me. Hopefully I can put my name on this trophy a few more times."
