Torin Collects Cycle
Cristofer Torin hit for the cycle and paced the Amarillo Sod Poodles to a 15-0 victory over the Vaughan Black Aces at Hodgetown today.

The Sod Poodles shortstop led the way for his club with 4 hits in 5 at-bats -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- along with 7 RBI and 2 runs.

"Now that I know what Cristofer is capable of, I'm going to expect it more often," Amarillo manager Shawn Roof joked with reporters after the game.

Cristofer Torin hit a three-run home run off Luichi Casilla in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.

Thus far this year Torin is hitting .194 with 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and 24 runs scored.
