Aguilar, Ochoa Suspended for Fracas Sunday, August 14th , 2039 Jose Aguilar of the Washington Nationals and Manny Ochoa of the Boston Red Sox will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Nationals-Red Sox game at Nationals Park. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Aguilar and Ochoa will begin serving them soon. Presently Aguilar is batting .290 with 33 home runs and 77 RBIs. He has played in 112 games and scored 77 times. This year Ochoa has registered 5 wins and 7 losses in 19 starts with a 4.59 ERA while registering 83 strikeouts and 37 walks in 104 innings. |
