Setback for Texas and Franklin Lira Wednesday, August 10th , 2039 Fans hoping to see Texas Rangers first baseman Franklin Lira back in action will have to be a little more patient since Lira is expected to miss another one week of action. The player's rehabilitation has not gone as well as expected. Lira is recovering from an elbow contusion. Lira is batting .276 this year with 21 home runs, 53 RBIs and 49 runs scored. He has 95 hits in 344 at-bats. |
