Recovery Slow for Astros Jimmy Thomson Monday, August 8th , 2039 After being examined by team doctors yesterday, Astros reliever Jimmy Thomson was told that his rehabilitation time would be increased to 8 months because he still had some pain and soreness. The medical staff did not want to activate him until he is totally healthy. Thomson is recovering from shoulder inflammation. Jimmy Thomson is expected to undergo surgery in Houston(Texas) tomorrow. |
