Lopez, Huett Swap Teams Monday, August 1st , 2039 BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the Atlanta Braves and Arizona Diamondbacks has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 19-year old minor league 1B Juan Lopez to Arizona in return for 31-year old minor league LF Mike Huett. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it. Huett is hitting at a .286 mark this season. His stats show 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has played 38 games for the Braves. |
