Blue Jays Trade Briggs to White Sox for Martin Monday, August 1st , 2039 The Toronto Blue Jays have made a deal sending 33-year old 1B Chris Briggs to the Chicago White Sox for 29-year old 3B Agustin Martines and 21-year old minor league 1B Bob Martin. Both sides are said to be pleased with the way the trade worked out. On the year Briggs is hitting .272 with 97 hits, 14 home runs, 42 RBIs, .338 OBP and has scored 52 runs. |
