Super Month Nets Irons #1 Batter Prize in AL Monday, August 1st , 2039 Chicago White Sox fans believe they've got a talented young star in Steve Irons. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in July, as he hit .310 with 10 home runs, 18 RBIs and 18 runs scored. The end result was the third baseman being named the American League Batter of the Month. In 93 games this year Irons has posted a .341 average and put up these numbers: 28 home runs, 51 RBIs and 76 runs scored. |
