Rockies Royce Lewis Injured: Day-to-Day Wednesday, July 27th , 2039 It's a long season and everyone picks up some cuts and bruises along the way. The latest star to be suffering this year is Royce Lewis of the Colorado Rockies, who suffered a strained hamstring while colliding with a player at a base in yesterday's contest against Los Angeles. While he could play through the injury, it's unclear whether or not the Colorado organization will risk that or simply sit him out for the 3-4 weeks the injury is expected to last. Thus far in 2039 Lewis is hitting .254 with 17 home runs, 33 RBIs, 58 runs scored and has compiled a .369 OBP. |
