Tampa Bay Sends Carrillo to Chicago Monday, July 25th , 2039 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Tampa Bay Rays and the Chicago White Sox have agreed to a deal that will have 32-year old minor league SS Ernie Carrillo heading to Chicago in exchange for 21-year old minor league LF Ricky Villa. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. In his career, Carrillo is batting .204 with a total of 16 home runs. |
