Ouch! James Karinchak Shelved by Injury Sunday, July 4th , 2027 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Minnesota Twins, Spiders closer James Karinchak was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 6 weeks with an oblique strain. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Cleveland skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. This season Karinchak has crafted a 0-3 won-lost mark, pitched in 29 relief appearances and rung up 15 saves. He has a 2.89 ERA and has allowed 11 hits over his 28 innings of work, struck out 45 batters and walked 20. |
