Mets Swap Hoff to Reds for Allison Thursday, June 30th , 2039 It's all done except the paperwork. The New York Mets and the Cincinnati Reds have agreed to a trade that will send 18-year old LHP Bobby Adame, 19-year old LHP Greg Coxon, 20-year old RF Tony de Leon, 18-year old RHP Luis Herrera, 18-year old RHP Raul Jaramillo, 20-year old LF Joe Hoff, and 18-year old RHP Jesus Manzano to Cincinnati, while 23-year old minor league LHP Andy Allison will be shipped to New York. A top front office executive with the Mets described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. |
