Esquivel, Weinreich Swap Teams Monday, June 27th , 2039 In a hastily called press conference, New York announced today a trade with Chicago that will send 34-year old RHP Manny Esquivel and $2,000,000 in cash to the White Sox in exchange for 19-year old minor league RHP Mike Weinreich. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. New York will retain a portion of Esquivel's remaining contract. In 7 starts this season Esquivel has fashioned a 1-6 record and a 5.63 ERA. |
