Cincinnati Stops Talbot's Hit Streak Saturday, June 18th , 2039 Nick Talbot's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 23 games today as the Minnesota Twins dropped their contest with the Cincinnati Reds 5-1 at Target Field. Talbot failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-1. After the game Talbot spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. In this current campaign Talbot is hitting at a .318 clip with 6 home runs and 40 RBIs. |
