AL Player of the Week Goes to Carmouche of Cleveland
Monday, June 13th , 2039
Few players his age are still in the league, but Dylan Carmouche of the Cleveland Spiders clearly loves the game and clearly he can still get the job done. Last week the 37-year-old left fielder hit the ball with the consistency of someone ten years younger, which made Carmouche a popular and well-deserved selection as American League Player of the Week.

He paced the Spiders attack by putting up a .458 batting average, 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 8 RBIs and 3 home runs. Carmouche also scored 7 runs.

For the year Carmouche has hit .291 with 26 home runs, 49 RBIs and scored 48 runs.
