Rowdy Players Suspended by League

Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Nashville-Pittsburgh contest at HCA Park. The Outlaws Andy Torrez and the Pirates Eddy Yean will have to sit out 5 and 3 games respectively for their parts in the brawl.

In the current season, Torrez has put up a .238 batting average with 25 hits, 2 home runs, 8 runs batted in and scored 12 runs.

For the year, Yean has collected no saves in 15 relief appearances. He has also rung up 92 strikeouts and 32 walks in 95.1 innings while registering a 4.44 ERA and a 7-5 won-lost mark.
