Miles, Red Sox Notch Nifty 3-1 Win Over Cleveland
|
Boston Red Sox starter Tristan Miles turned in an exceptional performance against the Cleveland Spiders at Progressive Field, resulting in a Boston win, 3-1. Bobby Bonetti was credited with the save for Boston, his 10th of the season. At 18-10, the Red Sox have played well so far.
Miles was effective against the Spiders, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Cleveland to just no runs on 1 hit over 8 innings.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Miles.
