Astros Hang 4-1 Loss on Twins
|
Houston starter Isaias Orta pitched well against the Minnesota Twins at Minute Maid Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. Orta, the winner, moves to 4-1. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up no walks. Josh Juel picked up the save, his 4th.
Bob Barraza had a critical at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for Houston. He came through with a solo home run to put Houston in front, 2-0.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Astros manager Aaron Shafer, "I like our chances."
Houston has a mark of 13-10 after the win.
