In a low-scoring clash between Minnesota and Houston, pitcher Joe O'Neill was a difference-maker. The left-hander earned accolades in the 1-0 win. O'Neill got the win, improving to 1-3. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. O'Neill allowed no runs. Victor Zayas earned the save, his 6th, for the Twins.

Minnesota used a well-timed hit by Eric Wright to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Twins ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Joe just went about his business, throwing strikes," said Minnesota manager Hunter Bailey.

The loss drops the Astros to 12-9.
