Julio Rodriguez did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Milwaukee Brewers from losing, 9-7, to the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. Rodriguez hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Dave Robinson picked up the win with 5.1 innings of work. He allowed 4 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 1-0. Toronto goes to 7-5.

Chris Thigpin drew 2 walk in 4 trips to the plate for Toronto. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jake Griner. It was his 4th walk of the season.
